Rollerball in upgraded gold components. The body is genuine oak from a decommissioned whisky barrel from the Dalmore distillery in Scotland. The Dalmore Royal Heritage dates back to 1263, when the stag emblem was bestowed upon Colin of Kintail, the first cheiftain of the Clan Mackenzie. He saved the life of King Alexander III from a charging stag and was presented with the 12 point Royal emblem. The gold centre band has been engraved with the name 'Dalmore,' to enhance its appeal. In the workshop, when I drilled out the centre of the blank, the oak released a warm breath of aged whisky, as if saying goodbye to its old, loyal life, before embracing something new. This is more than a pen. It's a story of transformation, character and time. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
